Strategy

The "Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait" deck in Commander MTG is a powerful ramp and landfall strategy deck. Using Aesi's ability to draw cards whenever a land enters the battlefield, the deck aims to ramp up quickly with cards like Cultivate, Kodama's Reach, Rampant Growth, and Azusa, Lost But Seeking. It can generate a large number of tokens with Avenger of Zendikar, Rampaging Baloths, and Scute Swarm to overwhelm opponents. Good points of the deck include its ability to quickly ramp up mana and draw cards consistently, allowing for explosive turns and lots of options. It can also outvalue opponents in the late game with its card draw engine and landfall triggers. However, the deck may struggle against fast aggro strategies, as it can be slow to set up its mana base and powerhouse creatures. Additionally, it may have difficulty against control decks that can disrupt its key pieces or delay its game plan. Overall, the Aesi deck is a fun and synergistic deck that can create explosive turns and overwhelm opponents with a combination of ramp, card draw, and powerful creatures.
