Ice Cauldron, Artifact, designed by Dan Frazier first released in Jun, 1995 in the set Ice Age and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.69.
Ice Cauldron is best suited for a control or combo deck that can take advantage of its ability to exile and cast powerful nonland cards, particularly those with high mana costs or game-changing effects. Decks that focus on card advantage and have a lot of instants or sorceries would benefit from the flexibility it provides. However, there are arguably better options like Leyline Tyrant or Omnath, Locus of Creation, which offer more immediate impact or synergy with specific strategies. While Ice Cauldron can be a fun and unique inclusion, its limitations and the existence of more efficient alternatives may hinder its competitiveness in most formats.

If multiple cards are exiled by the Cauldron, the mana can only be used for the card that was exiled by the Cauldron when the most recent charge counter was put there.
10/04/04
If the ability to exile a card with the Cauldron is countered, you do not lose the card since it is exiled during resolution.
10/04/04
Tapping the Cauldron for the mana is a mana ability.
10/04/04
The Cauldron counts only mana spent on it. It doesn’t see the value of X, so isn’t affected by cost reductions. Thus, if you spent on X, you get later even if X was 6.
10/04/04
The mana can be used to pay for additional costs to cast the spell.
10/04/04
X can be zero. This places a zero mana counter on the Cauldron.
10/04/04
You do not have to use any mana from the Cauldron when casting the spell if you don’t want to. You don’t even have to tap the Cauldron and draw the mana, you can just cast the spell using mana from somewhere else.
