Un deck Contrôle axé sur la perturbation de l'état du plateau de l'adversaire gagnerait à utiliser Emprise des Fantômes pour supprimer temporairement une menace du champ de bataille. Cependant, il existe de meilleures options pour les sorts de suppression en bleu, tels que Cyclonic Rift ou Cryptic Command, qui offrent plus de polyvalence et un impact immédiat.
