Si bien Grinning Totem ofrece una habilidad única para potencialmente jugar la carta desterrada, puede considerarse lenta y arriesgada en comparación con opciones más eficientes como Surgical Extraction o Extirpate, que proporcionan la eliminación inmediata y permanente de cartas específicas de la biblioteca del oponente sin necesidad de esperar al próximo mantenimiento. The exiled card is played using the normal rules for timing and priority for its card type, as well as any other applicable restrictions. You’ll have to pay its mana cost. The only thing that’s different is you’re casting it from the Exile zone.
