About First Response

This card could benefit a white weenie or aggro deck that aims to apply early pressure on the opponent and doesn't mind losing a bit of life in the process. While First Response can be a decent inclusion in such a deck to generate additional creatures, there are potentially better options like Honor of the Pure or Intangible Virtue that provide more consistent and impactful creature buffs.
