Gempalm Avenger, Creature — human soldier, designed by Tim Hildebrandt first released in Feb, 2003 in the set Legions and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of A$ 0.56.
Gempalm Avenger would be a great addition to a Soldier tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing a powerful boost to Soldier creatures when cycled. While it may be a bit costly to cast initially, its cycling ability can help dig for more impactful cards in the late game. However, in terms of better alternatives, cards like Preeminent Captain or Field Marshal might offer more consistent benefits to Soldier decks, making them potentially better choices depending on the overall strategy of the deck.

Cycling is an activated ability. Effects that interact with activated abilities (such as Stifle or Rings of Brighthearth) will interact with cycling. Effects that interact with spells (such as Remove Soul or Faerie Tauntings) will not.
10/01/08
The cycling ability and the triggered ability are separate. If the triggered ability doesn’t resolve (due to being countered with Stifle, for example, or if all its targets have become illegal), the cycling ability will still resolve and you’ll draw a card.
