Strategy
Ah, the "Kambal, Profiteering Mayor" deck! This Orzhov Commander deck seems like a blend of control and lifegain strategies, with a focus on taxing opponents for playing spells. Kambal's ability to drain life from opponents whenever they cast a noncreature spell can be quite powerful in multiplayer games, especially when combined with cards like Corpse Knight and Morbid Opportunist to further drain life or gain advantage. The deck have a flicker subtheme, with cards like Eldrazi Displacer and Flickerwisp providing value by blinking creatures for additional ETB triggers. Panharmonicon can also double up on these triggers, creating even more value. The mana base seems solid with a mix of dual lands and mana-fixing cards like Terramorphic Expanse. Forbidden Orchard can be a political card, giving your opponents creature tokens in exchange for mana fixing. One potential weakness of the deck might be its reliance on Kambal staying on the battlefield to drain life from opponents. Without Kambal, the deck might struggle to close out games quickly. Additionally, the deck lack a clear win condition, so it might rely on draining opponents slowly over time. Overall, the deck looks like a fun and interactive build that can disrupt opponents' plans while gaining incremental advantage. It seems like it would be a blast to play in a multiplayer Commander game!
