There has been some confusion online recently regarding Collector Booster Sample Packs and Extended-art Foils in the Lord of the Rings - Tales of Middle-Earth collection lately. Despite many different websites posting a variety of cards which are supposed to be Extended-Art foils, these cards do not exist!
This confusion was so great it baffled customers and retailers alike. Many expected these cards to have Extended-Art foil variants, as this is the Collector Booster Sample Packs we're talking about, but they don't. Worse yet, Wizards of the Coast hasn't spoken publicly about the issue or recognized the confusion, and thus the community was left to figure this mess out on their own.
