Redirigir, Instant, diseñada por Mike Raabe lanzado por primera vez en junio de 1995 en edición Ice Age y fue impreso exactamente en 11 diferentes formas. Actualmente se vende al precio más bajo de 0,49.
Un mazo de control enfocado en interrumpir la estrategia del oponente se beneficiaría al incluir Deflection en su mazo, ya que puede redirigir de manera efectiva hechizos clave para interrumpir los planes del oponente. Aunque Deflection puede ser poderoso en ciertas situaciones, hay cartas más versátiles e impactantes como Counterspell o Redirect que generalmente se consideran mejores opciones para mazos de control.
