Trap Digger, Creature — human soldier, designed by Christopher Moeller first released in May, 2003 in the set Scourge. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 8.90.
Trap Digger would fit well in a control or midrange deck that focuses on managing the board and utilizing land as a resource, particularly in a white deck that can generate mana efficiently. It synergizes with strategies that involve stalling the game and dealing with aggressive threats, as it provides a way to remove attacking creatures without flying. However, there are arguably better options for dealing with threats, such as Path to Exile or Swords to Plowshares, which offer more immediate and versatile removal. While Trap Digger has unique utility, it may not see widespread play compared to these more efficient removal spells, but it could be a fun and thematic addition in casual or specific builds.
