    Sarulf, Realm Eater

Whenever a permanent an opponent controls is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, put a +1/+1 counter on Sarulf, Realm Eater. At the beginning of your upkeep, if Sarulf has one or more +1/+1 counters on it, you may remove all of them. If you do, exile each other nonland permanent with mana value less than or equal to the number of counters removed this way.

Strategy

"Sarulf, Realm Eater" is a powerful commander in a Commander format Magic: The Gathering deck that focuses on utilizing its abilities to control the board and outvalue opponents. The deck revolves around leveraging Sarulf's ability to grow stronger as opponents' resources are depleted, using cards like Cultivate, Rampant Growth, Kodama's Reach, and Migration Path to ramp up and get ahead on mana. Some good points of the deck include its ability to steadily grow Sarulf into a formidable threat, as well as its strong removal suite with cards like Putrefy, Liliana's Triumph, Murder, and Demon's Disciple to deal with opponents' threats. The deck also includes some utility cards like Tribute to the Wild for additional removal and Arlinn, Voice of the Pack for generating wolf tokens to beef up your board presence. On the downside, the deck may struggle against fast aggro decks that can go under its control game plan. It could also face challenges against decks that can generate large amounts of tokens or go-wide strategies since Sarulf's ability is more effective against decks with higher CMC spells. Additionally, the deck might have some vulnerability to graveyard hate since Sarulf's ability relies on exiling cards from graveyards. Overall, the Sarulf, Realm Eater deck is a fun and interactive deck that rewards strategic play and careful resource management. It offers a unique gameplay experience with its focus on controlling the board and growing a powerful commander, making it a solid choice for players who enjoy midrange strategies in Commander.
