A deck that focuses on filling the graveyard with multiple card types would benefit from using Inexorable Blob, especially in a Delirium-themed deck. However, there are potentially better cards that offer more immediate impact or synergies within specific strategies, such as Tarmogoyf or Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis. Inexorable Blob could see play in casual or themed decks, but may not be competitive in more optimized or faster-paced formats.

In some rare cases, you can have a token or a copy of a spell in your graveyard at the moment that an object’s delirium ability counts the card types among cards in your graveyard, before that token or copy ceases to exist. Because tokens and copies of spells are not cards, even if they are copies of cards, their types will never be counted.
