Rolling Temblor sería beneficioso en un mazo rojo aggro o de rango medio que tiene como objetivo limpiar el tablero de criaturas pequeñas para mantener el control del tablero. Si bien puede ser efectivo en ciertos enfrentamientos, existen opciones potencialmente mejores como Anger of the Gods, que exilia criaturas y evita la recurrencia del cementerio, o Pyroclasm para un efecto de limpieza del tablero más económico. Rolling Temblor podría jugarse en metajuegos específicos donde brilla contra estrategias con muchas criaturas, pero su efectividad puede variar dependiendo de la composición general del mazo y el estado actual del metajuego.
