Táctica de Tezzeret, Sorcery, diseñada por Karl Kopinski lanzado por primera vez en May, 2011 en edición New Phyrexia y fue impreso exactamente en 14 diferentes formas. Actualmente se vende al precio más bajo de ₲ 2925.37.
Un mazo centrado en contadores +1/+1 y robo de cartas, como un mazo de proliferación Simic o Dimir, se beneficiaría del Gambito de Tezzeret debido a su capacidad para robar cartas y hacer proliferar contadores. Sin embargo, hay mejores cartas como Inexorable Tide o Contagion Engine que brindan más valor por un costo similar, lo que hace que Gambito de Tezzeret sea una opción subóptima para el juego competitivo a menos que se adapte específicamente a una determinada estrategia o tema.

Players can respond to a spell or ability whose effect includes proliferating. Once that spell or ability starts to resolve, however, and its controller chooses which permanents and players will get new counters, it’s too late for anyone to respond.

To proliferate, you can choose any permanent that has a counter, including ones controlled by opponents. You can’t choose cards in any zone other than the battlefield, even if they have counters on them.
