Un mazo azul basado en el tempo que se centra en alterar el estado del tablero del oponente y mantener el control se beneficiaría del uso de Clutch of Currents. Si bien Clutch of Currents ofrece una opción versátil para hacer rebotar a una criatura y potencialmente crear una amenaza con su habilidad Despertar, posiblemente existen mejores opciones como Vapor Snag o Unsummon que ofrecen un valor más inmediato a un costo menor. Clutch of Currents aún podría entrar en juego en ciertas estrategias que valoran el efecto de animación de la tierra o buscan versatilidad adicional en sus opciones de eliminación.

If a spell with awaken has multiple targets (including the land you control), and some but not all of those targets become illegal by the time the spell tries to resolve, the spell won’t affect the illegal targets in any way.

You can cast a spell with awaken for its mana cost and get only its first effect. If you cast a spell for its awaken cost, you’ll get both effects.
