Un deck qui bénéficie de Sacred Foundry est un deck aggro ou milieu de gamme rouge-blanc qui donne la priorité à l'accès au mana rouge et blanc en début de partie. Cette carte est particulièrement utile dans les decks qui reposent sur le lancement d'une variété de sorts avec des exigences de couleurs différentes. Bien qu'il existe d'autres terrains doubles qui peuvent être plus efficaces dans certaines situations, Sacred Foundry est un choix solide pour les decks qui ont besoin d'un accès cohérent aux sources de mana rouge et blanc. Unlike most dual lands, this land has two basic land types. It’s not basic, so cards such as District Guide can’t find it, but it does have the appropriate land types for effects such as that of Drowned Catacomb (from the Ixalan set).
