The Blind Hunter card would be beneficial in a control or midrange deck that focuses on gaining incremental life advantage and disrupting the opponent's life total. While the card's ability to haunt and trigger life loss/gain is interesting, there are potentially more efficient options like Vampire Nighthawk or Gifted Aetherborn that provide similar effects with better stats for their cost, making Blind Hunter less likely to see competitive play in most Magic: The Gathering formats.
