About Defective Detective

Defective Detective, Creature — human spy, designed by Matt Dixon first released in May, 2020 in the set Unstable. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 0.97.

This card, Defective Detective, would benefit a deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's strategy by gaining information about their hand and potentially removing a key card. While it has a unique ability to be unblockable and provide hand disruption, there are better cards like Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek that offer more consistent and powerful hand disruption effects. However, Defective Detective could still see play in a deck looking for a fun and quirky way to disrupt the opponent's plans.
