A control or tempo deck would benefit from using Snapcaster Mage due to its versatility in providing additional value by reusing powerful instant or sorcery spells from the graveyard. While there are other cards that can fulfill similar roles, such as Torrential Gearhulk or Jace, Vryn's Prodigy, Snapcaster Mage's efficiency and flexibility make it a strong contender for inclusion in decks that rely on instant and sorcery spells.
