Aether Chaser sarebbe un ottimo inserimento per un mazzo rosso aggressivo in Magic: the Gathering, poiché fornisce una presenza precoce in campo e il potenziale per creare creature aggiuntive per mettere pressione all'avversario. Sebbene sia una carta solida per il suo costo, ci sono potenzialmente opzioni migliori come Goblin Guide o Monastery Swiftspear che offrono una produzione di danni più consistente in mazzi simili, quindi Aether Chaser potrebbe non essere giocata molto in contesti competitivi ma può comunque essere una scelta divertente ed efficace per giochi casuali.
