Giudizio di Avacyn sarebbe utile in un mazzo rosso aggressivo che mira a esercitare pressione iniziale e a finire rapidamente gli avversari. La flessibilità di poter scegliere come dividere il danno tra i bersagli può essere utile per eliminare i bloccanti o infliggere danno diretto ai punti vita dell'avversario. Tuttavia, ci sono carte migliori come Lightning Bolt o Skewer the Critics che offrono danni più efficienti e costanti, rendendo Avacyn's Judgment meno probabile che venga giocato nei mazzi competitivi.
