Un mazzo incentrato su strategie di aggressione o tempo white weenie beneficerebbe dall'includere Celestial Crusader, poiché fornisce un potente impulso ad altre creature bianche, avendo anche flash e volare per una maggiore versatilità ed evasione. Mentre ci potrebbero essere altre carte con effetti simili come Honor of the Pure o Benalish Marshal, la combinazione unica di abilità su Celestial Crusader lo rende un forte candidato per l'inclusione nel mazzo giusto, specialmente in un metagioco in cui il split second può interrompere efficacemente i piani degli avversari.
