Il Jamming Device sarebbe particolarmente utile in un mazzo di controllo o di fascia media che mira a gestire lo stato del campo indebolendo le creature avversarie, soprattutto contro strategie aggressive. I mazzi che includono carte come Liliana del Velo o Doomsday possono sfruttare ulteriormente l'effetto -1/-1 costringendo gli avversari a scartare o sacrificare creature indebolite. Sebbene Jamming Device possa essere efficace in scenari specifici, potrebbe essere surclassato da carte come Toxic Deluge o Wrath of God, che forniscono un controllo più completo sul tabellone. Nel complesso, potrebbe trovare spazio in strategie di nicchia, ma potrebbe non essere un punto fermo nei formati competitivi.

If you crank multiple Contraptions, their abilities can be put onto the stack in any order. The ability put onto the stack will resolve first.

If you or a permanent you control are instructed to assemble a Contraption, reveal the top card of your Contraption deck. Put it onto the battlefield on one of the three sprockets.
