Un mazzo che si concentra sulla duplicazione o ricorsione delle creature beneficerebbe dall'uso di Mask of the Mimic in Magic: the Gathering. Questa carta può essere particolarmente utile nei mazzi che si basano su creature potenti con abilità uniche, permettendo ai giocatori di cercare rapidamente e mettere un'altra copia di quella creatura sul campo di battaglia. Tuttavia, ci sono alternative migliori come Clone o Phyrexian Metamorph, che forniscono effetti simili senza la necessità di sacrificare una creatura come costo aggiuntivo.
