Hogaak, Necropoli Risorta sarebbe perfetto in un mazzo cimitero Golgari incentrato sull'utilizzo delle creature e delle risorse del cimitero. La sua capacità di essere lanciata dal cimitero, insieme alle meccaniche di convocazione ed esumazione, la rendono una minaccia potente ed economicamente vantaggiosa. Sebbene possano esserci altre opzioni forti come Tarmogoyf o Death's Shadow, le abilità uniche di Hogaak e il potenziale per giocate esplosive lo rendono una scelta praticabile per i mazzi che cercano di sfruttare le sinergie del cimitero e sopraffare gli avversari con una grande creatura che travolge.

If a creature you control has a mana ability with in the cost, activating that ability while casting a spell with convoke will result in the creature being tapped before you pay the spell’s costs. You won’t be able to tap it again for convoke. Similarly, if you sacrifice a creature to activate a mana ability while casting a spell with convoke, that creature won’t be on the battlefield when you pay the spell’s costs, so you won’t be able to tap it for convoke.
