Il trucco del chimico, Istantaneo, progettato da Christopher Moeller rilasciato per la prima volta May, 2020 in redazione Return to Ravnica. Attualmente viene venduto al prezzo più basso di Fr 0.28.
Un mazzo Tempo o Controllo che si concentra sullo sconvolgimento dello stato del tabellone dell'avversario e sul mantenimento del controllo del campo di battaglia trarrebbe vantaggio dall'utilizzo del Trucco di Chemister. Sebbene possa essere uno strumento utile per forzare la creatura di un avversario ad attaccare e lasciarla potenzialmente vulnerabile, sono disponibili opzioni più efficienti come Vapor Snag o Unsummon per effetti simili. Il Trucco del Chimico potrebbe essere utilizzato in alcuni metagiochi, ma potrebbe non essere una carta base nella maggior parte dei mazzi a causa del suo impatto limitato rispetto ad altre opzioni.

If you cast Chemister’s Trick with overload, only creatures you don’t control that are on the battlefield when Chemister’s Trick resolves are affected. Creatures that come under another player’s control later in the turn are not.

If, during a player’s declare attacker’s step, a creature is tapped, is affected by a spell or ability that says it can’t attack, or hasn’t been under that player’s control continuously since the turn began (and doesn’t have haste), then it doesn’t attack. If there’s a cost associated with having a creature attack, the player isn’t forced to pay that cost, so it doesn’t have to attack in that case either.
