Un mazzo di controllo focalizzato sulla protezione dei suoi permanenti e sul mantenimento della presenza sul tabellone trarrebbe vantaggio dall’inclusione di Ghosts of the Innocent nella sua strategia, poiché fornisce uno scudo protettivo contro i danni. Tuttavia, ci sono opzioni potenzialmente più forti come Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts che non solo offre protezione ma offre anche vantaggi aggiuntivi. Anche se Fantasmi degli Innocenti potrebbe non essere una carta di alto livello, potrebbe comunque essere giocata in meta specifici o come alternativa economica per i giocatori che desiderano proteggere il proprio tabellone.

If a damage prevention effect and Ghosts of the Innocent’s effect would apply to the same damage, the player or the controller of the creature being dealt damage may apply the effects in either order (most likely applying the halving effect first).

Multiple Ghosts of the Innocent effects are cumulative, and each will halve the damage, rounded down. For example, with three on the battlefield, 14 damage becomes 7, then 3, then finally 1, and only 1 damage would actually be dealt.
