Polukranos, Unchained sarebbe un'ottima aggiunta a un mazzo Golgari midrange o focalizzato sul cimitero in Magic: The Gathering, poiché fornisce una minaccia versatile che può crescere in potenza ed eliminare creature avversarie. Anche se potrebbe non essere la carta assolutamente migliore in ogni situazione, la sua capacità di combattere ripetutamente le creature e la sua resilienza ai danni la rendono una scelta solida per i mazzi che cercano di controllare il campo di gioco e applicare pressione.
