Skyclave Shade sarebbe una buona soluzione in un mazzo nero aggro o midrange che mira a esercitare pressione nelle prime fasi e sfruttare le abilità innescate di terraferma. Sebbene la sua incapacità di bloccare possa essere uno svantaggio, la sua capacità di ritornare dal cimitero e potenzialmente entrare con segnalini +1/+1 aggiuntivi lo rende una minaccia versatile. Tuttavia, potrebbero esserci opzioni migliori come Bloodghast o Gravecrawler che offrono valore e sinergie più consistenti nelle strategie basate sul cimitero, quindi Skyclave Shade potrebbe non vedere un gioco diffuso nei mazzi competitivi.

A landfall ability doesn’t trigger if a permanent already on the battlefield becomes a land.
