Un mazzo incentrato sulla rimozione o sul controllo degli artefatti trarrebbe vantaggio dall'inclusione di Sundering Fork, poiché fornisce un modo ripetibile per distruggere gli artefatti bersaglio. Sebbene possa essere utile in determinate situazioni, ci sono effettivamente opzioni migliori disponibili, come Vandalblast o Nevinyrral's Disk, che offrono abilità di rimozione degli artefatti più versatili o potenti. Sundering Fork potrebbe non essere oggetto di un gioco diffuso a causa della sua portata limitata rispetto ad altre carte di maggiore impatto nel formato.
