Vesuva è una carta versatile che può beneficiare i mazzi che puntano alla sinergia delle terre o agli effetti specifici delle terre, come quelli che si concentrano su terre utilitarie potenti o combo di terre. Mentre Vesuva offre flessibilità nel copiare qualsiasi terra, alcuni mazzi potrebbero preferire carte come Thespian's Stage o Dark Depths per interazioni più impattanti. Se Vesuva viene giocata dipende dalla strategia specifica e dalla sinergia all'interno di un mazzo, rendendola un'inclusione preziosa ma situazionale in certi mazzi.

If you don’t choose a land on the battlefield, Vesuva enters the battlefield untapped as itself, and will not be able to tap for mana.

Vesuva copies exactly what is printed on the land it’s copying and nothing else (unless it’s copying a land that’s copying something else; see below). It doesn’t copy whether a land is tapped or untapped, whether it has any counters on it or Auras attached to it, or any non-copy effects that changed its types, and so on.

Cornered Market won’t prevent Vesuva from being played (unless there’s a Vesuva on the battlefield copying nothing), since you play it before it becomes named something else.
