A deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures for value, such as Aristocrats or Sacrifice decks, would greatly benefit from including Village Rites. However, there are better cards with similar effects like Altar's Reap or Costly Plunder, which offer additional benefits like gaining life or providing mana. Village Rites could still see play in decks looking for redundancy or additional card draw options.
