Boomstacker sarebbe un ottimo aggiunta a un mazzo aggressivo rosso in Magic: the Gathering, poiché può crescere rapidamente in potenza con ogni attacco. Tuttavia, il suo svantaggio di sacrificarsi quando il mazzo cade potrebbe limitarne l'efficacia a lungo termine. Altre carte come Goblin Guide o Monastery Swiftspear potrebbero essere opzioni migliori per un output di danni costante senza il rischio di auto-sacrificio, rendendo Boomstacker una carta situazionale che potrebbe non vedere un ampio utilizzo nei mazzi competitivi.
