Un mazzo control o tempo trarrebbe vantaggio dall'utilizzo di Chromium, the Mutable grazie alla sua capacità di essere imcounterable, avere flash e diventare imbloccabile con anti-malocchio. Sebbene Cromo sia una carta forte, potrebbe non essere l'opzione migliore in tutte le situazioni. Alcuni mazzi potrebbero preferire altre mosse finali o minacce più efficienti, come Teferi, Time Raveler o Baneslayer Angel, a seconda del meta e dello stile di gioco.
