Shieldguard del Console sarebbe utile in un mazzo aggro basato sull'energia bianca in Magic: the Gathering, poiché fornisce segnalini energia quando entrano nel campo di battaglia e offre un modo per proteggere le creature attaccanti garantendo loro indistruttibilità. Sebbene possa essere una valida inclusione in un mazzo del genere, ci sono opzioni potenzialmente migliori come Adanto Vanguard o Dauntless Bodyguard che offrono valore o protezione più immediati.
