Divine Verdict, Instant, designed by Kev Walker first released in Jul, 2009 in the set Magic 2010 and was printed exactly in 8 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 0.39.
This card, Divine Verdict, would be beneficial in a white control deck that focuses on removing threats from the battlefield. While it can be useful in certain situations, there are more efficient removal spells available in Magic: the Gathering, such as Path to Exile or Swords to Plowshares, which offer more versatility or lower mana cost. Divine Verdict may see play in limited formats or casual decks, but in competitive settings, there are likely better options available.

Destroying a blocking creature won’t cause any of the creatures it was blocking to become unblocked. They won’t deal combat damage to the defending player or planeswalker (unless they have trample).

An “attacking creature” is one that has been declared as an attacker this combat, or one that was put onto the battlefield attacking this combat. Unless that creature leaves combat, it continues to be an attacking creature through the end of combat step, even if the player it was attacking has left the game, or the planeswalker it was attacking has left combat.
