Un mazzo di controllo incentrato sul ritmo e sull'interruzione trarrebbe vantaggio dall'utilizzo del Demolitore Kraken, poiché può tappare più creature e tenerle bloccate, rallentando lo sviluppo del tabellone dell'avversario. Anche se Shipbreaker Kraken è una scelta solida per una strategia del genere, esistono opzioni potenzialmente migliori come Frost Titan o Wurmcoil Engine che offrono ulteriore utilità o resilienza. In definitiva, la decisione di includere Shipbreaker Kraken dipenderà dalle esigenze specifiche e dalle sinergie del mazzo in questione.

An ability that triggers when a creature becomes monstrous won’t trigger if that creature isn’t on the battlefield when its monstrosity ability resolves.
