Questa carta, Disperazione, sarebbe utile per un mazzo focalizzato su strategie aggressive e sulla riduzione delle dimensioni della mano dell'avversario. I mazzi che mirano a mettere pressione rapidamente e costringere l'avversario a scartare carte troverebbero utile questa carta. Anche se Disperazione può essere efficace in certe situazioni, ci sono potenzialmente carte migliori come Carezza di Liliana o Risveglio dei Predoni che offrono effetti simili in modo costante senza il limite di essere lanciate solo dal cimitero. Tuttavia, Disperazione potrebbe comunque essere giocata in mazzi specifici focalizzati sul cimitero o come carta tecnica singola per un fattore sorpresa.

This frame treatment is for your convenience and has no rules significance.

While not on the stack, the characteristics of a split card are the combination of its two halves. For example, Destined // Lead is a green and black card, it is both an instant card and a sorcery card, and its converted mana cost is 6. This means that if an effect allows you to cast a card with converted mana cost 2 from your hand, you can’t cast Destined. This is a change from the previous rules for split cards.
