Questa carta, Reweave, sarebbe vantaggiosa in un mazzo di controllo che mira a disturbare il campo avversario sacrificando permanenti chiave e potenzialmente sostituendoli con una carta di tipo simile. Tuttavia, potrebbe non essere efficiente come altre carte di rimozione come Path to Exile o Fatal Push che offrono opzioni di rimozione più immediate e versatili. Mentre Reweave ha potenziale in strategie specifiche, il suo costo elevato e l'effetto condizionato potrebbero limitarne la giocabilità complessiva nei mazzi competitivi di Magic: the Gathering.

With the introduction of the Tribal type it became possible for an instant or sorcery card to share a type with the sacrificed permanent (ie, a Tribal instant card shares a type with a Tribal Enchantment card). Reweave has received errata so that the effect looks for a *permanent* card that shares a type with the sacrificed permanent. A permanent card is a card that could be put onto the battlefield, which is any card that isn’t an instant or sorcery.
