Tuttavia, ci sono altre carte come Giant Growth o Rancor che offrono effetti simili a un costo inferiore o con benefici aggiuntivi, rendendole potenzialmente opzioni migliori a seconda della strategia complessiva del mazzo. Sylvan Might potrebbe comunque essere giocato in mazzi alla ricerca di opzioni di recupero dal cimitero o sinergie specifiche, ma potrebbe non essere la scelta migliore in tutti i casi.
