Traumatic Visions, Instant, designed by Cyril Van Der Haegen first released in Feb, 2009 in the set Conflux and was printed exactly in 5 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 0.13.
Traumatic Visions would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on countering opponent's spells and maintaining card advantage. The ability to counter a spell while also providing the option to cycle for a basic land card can help ensure consistent mana development in the early game. However, in competitive Magic: the Gathering, there are more efficient counterspells available such as Counterspell or Cryptic Command, which offer more versatility and power for the same mana cost. Therefore, Traumatic Visions may not see play in highly competitive decks but could still find a home in more casual or budget-friendly control decks.

Basic landcycling is an activated ability. Effects that interact with activated abilities (such as Stifle or Rings of Brighthearth) will interact with basic landcycling. Effects that interact with spells (such as Remove Soul or Faerie Tauntings) will not.

Unlike the normal cycling ability, basic landcycling doesn’t allow you to draw a card. Instead, it lets you search your library for a basic land card. You don’t choose the type of basic land card you’ll find until you’re performing the search. After you choose a basic land card in your library, you reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle your library.
