The commander, The Mycotyrant itself, is the central piece of the deck, allowing you to generate more saproling tokens every turn. The strategy of the deck is to ramp up your mana with cards like Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, and Growing Rites of Itlimoc, while also sacrificing creatures for value with cards like Moldervine Reclamation and Golgari Grave-Troll.
