이 카드인 Blanket of Night는 스왑(Swamp) 유형을 활용하는 모노-블랙 덱에 도움이 될 것입니다. 랜드폴 능력을 발동하거나 스왑에 관심을 가진 카드들로부터 혜택을 받는 등 다양한 시너지를 이용할 수 있습니다. 그러나 추가 마나를 소비할 필요 없이 모든 땅을 스왑으로 바꾸어 주는 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth와 같은 더 나은 대안이 있습니다. Blanket of Night를 사용할지 여부는 특정 전략과 덱의 시너지에 따라 달라질 것이며, 특정 시나리오에서는 특정 용도로 사용될 수 있습니다.

The land can now be tapped for black mana in addition to any other abilities it already has. This works just as if the text “: Add ” was added to each mana-producing land. In other words, the land can be tapped for its own ability _or_ it can be tapped for black mana. Not both.
