City of Brass, Land, designed by Mark Tedin first released in Dec, 1993 in the set Arabian Nights and was printed exactly in 37 different ways. It see play in 2 formats: Commander and Alchemy. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of £ 14.47.
A deck that requires access to multiple colors of mana quickly, such as a five-color deck or a deck with demanding color requirements, would benefit from using City of Brass. However, there are better options like Mana Confluence or Reflecting Pool that do not deal damage to you when tapped. City of Brass could see play in budget decks or in situations where those other options are not available, but it may not be the optimal choice in more competitive environments.

On the other hand, you can tap City of Brass, put its triggered ability on the stack, and then respond to that ability by casting an instant or activating an ability using that mana. In that case, the instant spell or activated ability will resolve first.
