A deck focused on sacrificing creatures or reanimating creatures from the graveyard would benefit from using Kami of Mourning, as it allows for a recurring loop of reanimation when a higher mana value creature dies. There are potentially better cards for this strategy, such as Kokusho, the Evening Star, which has a stronger immediate impact upon entering the battlefield. However, Kami of Mourning could still have a niche role in certain graveyard-centric strategies where its ability can be repeatedly abused for advantage.
