Predictive Preparations would best fit a white-based +1/+1-counter, creature-heavy deck—especially Selesnya counters, go-wide Humans, Hardened Scales-style strategies, or decks that can repeatedly benefit from creatures growing at instant speed—because it can strengthen two creatures and provides card advantage through flashback; however, its four-mana flashback cost is expensive, and the effect is relatively small for constructed formats. Cards such as `Travel Preparations` are generally better when available because they cost less overall and offer the same two-counter effect with a cheaper flashback cost, while `Basri's Solidarity`, `Conclave Mentor`, `Inspiring Call`, or `Unbreakable Formation` may be stronger depending on whether you want broader scaling, counter synergy, card draw, or protection. Predictive Preparations could be playable in Limited or a casual Commander counters deck, but it should generally not see competitive constructed play unless the format specifically rewa
