Over About Face
About Face, Instant, ontworpen door Melissa A. Benson voor het eerst uitgebracht in februari 1999 in de set Urza's Legacy and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It see play in 1 formaat: Premodern. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0,32. It's a key card in 2 combos.
This card, About Face, would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on manipulating power and toughness to gain a strategic advantage in combat situations. Decks that rely on combat tricks, pump spells, or creatures with abilities that trigger based on power or toughness changes could find value in using this card. While About Face is a versatile option for such decks, there are potentially better cards like Temur Battle Rage or Assault Strobe that provide more impactful effects for a similar mana cost, so its inclusion in a deck would depend on the specific strategy and synergies at play.
Regels
19/03/2021
Because damage remains marked on a creature until the damage is removed as the turn ends, nonlethal damage dealt to a creature may become lethal if you switch its power and toughness during that turn.
19/03/2021
Effects that switch a creature's power and toughness apply after all other effects, regardless of when those effects began to apply. For instance, if you target a 1/2 creature then give it +2/+0 later in the turn, it's a 2/3 creature, not a 4/1 creature.
15/04/2013
Switching a creature’s power and toughness twice (or any even number of times) effectively returns the creature to the power and toughness it had before any switches.
01/11/2005
Note that the wording “Effects that alter the creature’s power alter its toughness instead, and vice versa, this turn” has been removed.
