Aftershock

Over Aftershock

Aftershock, Sorcery, ontworpen door Hannibal King voor het eerst uitgebracht in oktober 1997 in de set Tempest and was printed exactly in 5 different ways. It see play in 1 formaat: Premodern. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0,19.

Aftershock fits best in a casual mono-red control or Commander deck that needs flexible answers to artifacts, creatures, and lands and can tolerate paying 3 life, but its four-mana cost, sorcery speed, and self-damage make it inefficient; in most decks, **Chaos Warp** is better because it costs only three mana and can answer any permanent, while **Abrade** is better for efficiently handling artifacts or creatures, and cards such as **Vandalblast**, **Terminate**, or **Strip Mine** are better when you need specialized removal. Aftershock generally should not see competitive play and is only worth considering in slower, budget-minded, land-destruction-themed, or casual decks where its versatility matters more than its drawbacks.
