A deck that focuses on casting a high number of red and white spells, such as a Boros Aggro or Midrange deck in Magic: the Gathering, would benefit from including Battlegate Mimic. However, there are potentially better cards for similar effects, such as Monastery Swiftspear or Soul-Scar Mage, which provide consistent value without relying on specific spell colors.
