Over Bayou
Bayou, Land – moerasbos, ontworpen door Jesper Myrfors voor het eerst uitgebracht in mei 2020 in de set Limited Edition Alpha and was printed exactly in 16 different ways. It see play in 3 formats: Legacy, Vintage en Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 221,11.
Bayou is een krachtige kaart voor elk kaartspel dat zwarte en groene mana gebruikt, waardoor het vooral nuttig is in midden- of controlestrategieën die zich richten op wezens, verwijdering en kaartvoordeel, zoals Golgari- of Sultai-kaartspellen. Hoewel er andere duale landen zijn, zoals Overgrown Tomb of Woodland Cemetery, die vergelijkbare doeleinden kunnen dienen, maakt Bayou's vermogen om voor beide kleuren te tikken zonder het getikte slagveld te betreden het superieur in termen van tempo en efficiëntie. Gezien de veelzijdigheid en de mana-fixing die het biedt, zou Bayou zeker het spel in competitieve formaten moeten zien waar het legaal is, vooral in kaartspellen die tot doel hebben de synergie tussen zwarte en groene kaarten te maximaliseren.
